Information about First Nation Housing (INAC)

We have been working steadily to improve the housing situation in our village. In 1988, a decision was made by the Band Council to build only CMHC approved housing, to ensure that housing was to an acceptable standard.

At the present time (Feb. 2001) we have:

• 50 social housing units
• 24 renovated older houses
• 84 Band owned houses
• teacherages
• nurses residences, and
• housing for visitors
